What I need is an MP3 player which is:
Small and slim.
Lightweight
Has a clip or armband which can be bought seperately.
1gb or 2gb.
Decent sound quality.

I have found two which seem good, they are the Sansa Clip and iPod Shuffle. I don’t want a nano because I don’t have the money, so there is not much point suggesting it. Oh, and it does not need a screen, although I would prefer it.

Here are your choices:

Sandisk Sansa – Great for gym use AND normal use. Has a nice screen but is also very lightweight and small. It is already equipped with a clip on the back. If you don’t want to buy two MP3 players for use in gym and normally, go with this.

iPod Shuffle – If you don’t plan on using an MP3 player for normal usage or can buy two, iPod Shuffle is an option. Is the smallest out of all four and comes with a clip. However, it is pricey for no screen.

Creative Zen Stone Plus – If you dont want the Sansa, this would be your second best option. Offers a nice but very small screen (so you can actually know what you’re listening to opposed to Shuffle) and offers clip. Easy drag-and-drop to add songs.

If you did buy the music from iTunes Store, you cannot transfer it. Content from iTunes has copyright protection and will not allow you to play it on other devices (like your Samsung).

There are programs that can re-record your iTunes downloaded content as an unprotected MP3, but it probably won’t have very good quality and is against Apple’s usage policy. So, you may have to find another source.

If you need to find your songs again, I’d suggest trying AmazonMP3. They sell almost all of their songs at $0.89/song, they have no copyright protection and can be transfered to any device and burned as many times as you want. The link is below.
