@DimaKamyziak The Wi-FI is FREE. The only thing you pay for is the book you download. So, having the 3g is extremely convenient. It’s easier than downloading on a PC (which I personally don’t have) and then having to physically transfer it over through a USB.

eBook readers are …
eBook readers are open or closed. The Sony reader and the iPad both support the .epub format which IS open. Kindle doesn’t! See my fast tutorial about the .epub format. @stoneycreek7, first, I didn’t “buy into” any Apple marketing, I’m very able of forming my own opinions. second, my opinion is solely based on how BAD both Kindle and sony reader are. ANY new product with half decent screen will kill both of them, Third, Comparing prices to the Kindle the iPad is not that expensive.
Now how did you figure that the glare is horrendous and the feel is clumsy? did you buy the iPad?
