All About The Apple iPad And Laptop Wireless Internet
Best software to write an e-book in many e-book reader formats to give away or sell on one’s own website?
There are a lot of software packages out there like ebookwriter.com, but I can’t find any good independent reviews of them. There are now several common formats for ebooks, Kindle and others, and ebookwriter claims to be able to publish in these formats and also to have a feature that involves "checkout sales" of the books. A lot of people are doing ebooks in primitive fashion as .pdfs, but I think it is important to publish in as many of the common formats as possible, so that they can be viewed on computers, mobile phones, all the devices. I also want to know about how to sell the products–just having the files on a website is not enough, how do you incorporate this as a delivery system involving payment, checkout, and delivery of the file? Can anyone recommend a specific ebook publishing package and/or point to a site that is already using a specific package successfully?
PDFs are read on most devices, that’s why people use it. You could always try individual book sellers. I know Amazon.com offers a place to self-publish at least.

Look at Calibre (http://calibre-ebook.com/). It is free software that can convert documents to ebook formats. It is not perfect, but for the most part works well.
