   You should be able to plug an ethernet cable into your laptop, if you have a router or DSL/Cable modem at home.

   You need to have a modem in your laptop or you can just buy an external one. if that doesn’t work you can also get it through a usb cable if you get the correct driver from your service provider.

   yeah, its really easy, just like you would to a desktop, or it may be better if you just got a wireless router. but you just hook up the ethernet cable to the spot that it fits in.

   just buy a Ethernet cable [ the one that looks like a phone jack but slightly wider] and plug it into your laptop. You can find them at most places that sell electronic cables.
